Nifty July futures at premium
The Nifty July 2019 futures was at 11,950.50, a premium of 33.75 points compared with the Nifty's closing of 11,916.75 in the cash market.
Turnover on the National Stock Exchange's futures & options (F&O) segment was Rs 9.79 lakh crore compared with Rs 9.65 lakh crore reported in the previous session.
In the cash market, the Nifty 50 index increased 6.45 points or 0.05% to settle at 11,916.75.
The NSE's India VIX, a gauge of market's expectation of volatility over the near term, fell by 4.92% at 13.5475.
On the options front, the Nifty option chain for 25 July 2019 expiry showed maximum call open interest (OI) of 15.47 lakh contracts at the 12000 strike price. Maximum put OI of 16.96 lakh contracts was seen at 11500 strike price. Options data suggested a trading range between 11,500 and 12,000 levels for the Nifty.
Indiabulls Housing Finance, State Bank of India (SBI) and IndusInd Bank were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.

Indiabulls Housing Finance July 2019 futures were at 695, compared with spot closing price of 690.60. State Bank of India (SBI) July 2019 futures were at 367.20, compared with spot closing price of 366.10. IndusInd Bank July 2019 futures were at 1,473.50, compared with spot closing price of 1,473.
The July 2019 F&O contracts expire on Thursday, 25 July 2019.
