NTPC has accorded investment approval for Telangana Super Thermal Power Project, Phase-1 (2x800 MW) at current estimated cost of Rs. 10,598.98 crore. PPAs have been signed with Southern Power Distribution Company of Telangana and Northern Power Distribution Company of Telangana.
