Oil & Natural Gas Corpn net profit rises 44.27% in the March 2014 quarter

Sales decline 2.37% to Rs 20880.93 crore

Net profit of Oil & Natural Gas Corpn rose 44.27% to Rs 4889.00 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 3388.71 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales declined 2.37% to Rs 20880.93 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 21388.72 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net profit rose 5.59% to Rs 22094.81 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 20925.70 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales rose 1.10% to Rs 83155.88 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 82248.41 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
