Onward Technologies turns highly volatile after Q4 results

Onward Technologies fell 1.46% to Rs 47.40 at 12:24 IST on BSE after the company reported net loss of Rs 1.64 crore in Q4 March 2015, lower than net loss of Rs 4.78 crore in Q4 March 2014.

The Q4 result was announced after market hours yesterday, 13 May 2015.

Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 160.35 points or 0.59% at 27,090.75.

On BSE, so far 1,449 shares were traded in the counter as against average daily volume of 4,264 shares in the past one quarter.

The stock was volatile. The stock fell as much as 4.36% at the day's low of Rs 46 so far during the day. The stock rose as much as 3.74% at the day's high of Rs 49.90 so far during the day. The stock had hit a 52-week high of Rs 73.50 on 20 June 2014. The stock had hit a 52-week low of Rs 41 on 8 October 2014.

The stock had outperformed the market over the past one month till 13 May 2015, sliding 2.24% compared with Sensex's 6.17% fall. The scrip had also outperformed the market in past one quarter, declining 3.8% as against Sensex's 6.34% fall.

The small-cap company has equity capital of Rs 14.57 crore. Face value per share is Rs 10.

Onward Technologies' net sales rose 21.8% to Rs 50.53 crore in Q4 March 2015 over Q4 March 2014.
