Procter & Gamble Hygiene & Healthcare rose 0.82% to Rs 10,351.20 after the company announced strong results during market hours today, 21 August 2019.
Procter & Gamble Hygiene & Healthcare's net profit rose 11.89% to Rs 419.13 crore on a 20% rise in net sales to Rs 2,946.50 crore in the year ended June 2019 over the year ended June 2018.
The net profit rose 36.5% to Rs 60.79 crore on 21.5% increase in net sales to Rs 637.29 crore in Q4 June 2019 over Q4 June 2018.
The firm's managing director, Madhusudan Gopalan, said "In a challenging market environment, we delivered strong double-digit growth for the year and the fourth quarter. Our focus on raising the bar on superiority, improving productivity, and strengthening the organization culture has enabled us to deliver strong results consistently throughout the fiscal. We will continue to focus on delivering balanced and sustained growth in a challenging and competitive macroeconomic environment."
Procter & Gamble Hygiene & Health Care is engaged in the manufacturing and selling of branded packaged Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) in the femcare and healthcare businesses.
