Page Industries tumbled 4.39% to Rs 14,049 at 14:08 IST on BSE, with the stock dropping amid volatility after net profit rose 16.37% to Rs 63.18 crore on 17.3% growth in total income to Rs 451.69 crore in Q1 June 2015 over Q1 June 2014.
The Q1 result was announced during market hours today, 13 August 2015.
Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 93.89 points or 0.34% at 27,606.15.
On BSE, so far 5,937 shares were traded in the counter as against average daily volume of 1,410 shares in the past one quarter.
The stock was volatile. The stock slumped as much as 7.27% at the day's low of Rs 13,625 so far during the day. The stock rose as much as 1.22% at the day's high of Rs 14,875 so far during the day. The stock had hit a record high of Rs 16,995 on 1 June 2015. The stock had hit a 52-week low of Rs 7121.10 on 28 August 2014.
The stock had outperformed the market over the past one month till 12 August 2015, advancing 0.04% compared with Sensex's 0.54% fall. The scrip had also outperformed the market in past one quarter, surging 9.47% as against Sensex's 2.36% rise.
