Page Inds spurts after extending license agreement with Jockey

Page Industries rose 5.45% to Rs 26,021.95 at 10:35 IST on BSE after the company announced that its license agreement with Jockey International Inc., has been extended till 31 December 2040.

The announcement was made after market hours yesterday, 12 June 2018.

Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 106.80 points, or 0.30% to 35,799.32.

On the BSE, 13,000 shares were traded in the counter so far compared with average daily volumes of 681 shares in the past two weeks. The stock had hit a high of Rs 26,295.95 so far during the day, which is also a record high for the counter. The stock had hit a low of Rs 25,180 so far during the day. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 15,089.20 on 11 August 2017.

Net profit of Page Industries rose 41.07% to Rs 94.22 crore on 22.34% rise in net sales to Rs 608.40 crore in Q4 March 2018 over Q4 March 2017.
