Piramal Enterprise board to mull NCD issue

The board of Piramal Enterprises will meet on Monday, 28 June 2021, to consider issuing non-convertible debentures (NCDs) aggregating up to Rs 1,000 crore on private placement basis.

The board of Piramal Enterprises on Monday, 28 June 2021, will consider and approve the issue of secured, rated, listed redeemable principal protected market linked non-convertible debentures up to Rs 100 crore, along with an option to retain oversubscription upto Rs 900 crore, the total size aggregating upto Rs 1,000 crore on private placement basis.

On a consolidated basis, Piramal Enterprises reported net loss of Rs 510.39 crore in Q4 FY21 compared with net loss of Rs 1,702.59 crore in Q4 FY20. Net sales rose 1.8% to Rs 3,401.56 crore in Q4 FY21 from Rs 3,341 crore in Q4 FY20.

Piramal Enterprises has diversified business interests in financial services and pharmaceuticals.

Shares of Piramal Enterprises fell 1.43% to Rs 2,397.65 on BSE. The scrip hit an intraday low of Rs 2,387.80 and an intraday high of Rs 2,444.40 so far.
