Piramal Phytocare was locked at 10% upper circuit at Rs 32.50 at 14:41 IST on BSE after the company reported a net loss of Rs 0.46 crore in Q4 March 2014, lower than net loss of Rs 0.97 crore in Q4 March 2013.
The Q4 result was announced during trading hours today, 29 April 2014.
Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 160.44 points or 0.71% at 22,471.17.
On BSE, so far 83,000 shares were traded in the counter as against average daily volume of 12,000 shares in the past two weeks.
The stock's current price of Rs 32.50 is its 52-week high for the counter. The stock hit a low of Rs 29.05 so far during the day.
Piramal Phytocare's total income from operations rose 392.04% to Rs 4.33 crore in Q4 March 2014 over Q4 March 2013.
