PNB Gilts standalone net profit rises 224.52% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales decline 23.03% to Rs 60.61 crore

Net profit of PNB Gilts rose 224.52% to Rs 11.78 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 3.63 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales declined 23.03% to Rs 60.61 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 78.75 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit rose 384.55% to Rs 167.17 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 34.50 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales rose 45.79% to Rs 499.93 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 342.92 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
