Pokarna standalone net profit rises 17.91% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales decline 17.46% to Rs 41.56 crore

Net profit of Pokarna rose 17.91% to Rs 3.49 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 2.96 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales declined 17.46% to Rs 41.56 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 50.35 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit declined 31.77% to Rs 11.77 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 17.25 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales declined 18.73% to Rs 158.25 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 194.73 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
