Net profit of Ponni Sugars (Erode) declined 39.09% to Rs 6.59 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 10.82 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales declined 44.96% to Rs 34.00 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 61.77 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net loss reported to Rs 4.78 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against net profit of Rs 19.11 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales declined 20.51% to Rs 167.81 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 211.12 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
