Power Grid Corporation of India standalone net profit rises 4.61% in the March 2018 quarter

Sales rise 16.49% to Rs 7811.32 crore

Net profit of Power Grid Corporation of India rose 4.61% to Rs 2004.68 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 1916.36 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017. Sales rose 16.49% to Rs 7811.32 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 6705.57 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017.

For the full year,net profit rose 9.56% to Rs 8238.96 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 7520.15 crore during the previous year ended March 2017. Sales rose 15.72% to Rs 29752.46 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 25710.07 crore during the previous year ended March 2017.
