Prakash Industries net profit rises 60.23% in the March 2014 quarter

Sales rise 19.04% to Rs 717.02 crore

Net profit of Prakash Industries rose 60.23% to Rs 62.36 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 38.92 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales rose 19.04% to Rs 717.02 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 602.34 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net profit rose 5.02% to Rs 173.16 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 164.89 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales rose 3.41% to Rs 2596.62 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 2510.91 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
