Premier Explosives jumped 4.27% to Rs 171 after the company said its new solid propellant plant near Hyderabad was inaugurated on 23 August 2019.
The plant was inaugurated by K.P.S. Murthy, outstanding scientist and director of High Energy Materials Research Laboratory (HEMRL), Pune. The announcement was made after market hours yesterday, 27 August 2019.
On BSE, 850 shares were traded in Premier Explosives counter, compared to a 2-week average of 292 shares. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs 173.85 and an intraday low of Rs 169.
It hit a 52-week high of Rs 280.05 on 21 November 2018 and a 52-week low of Rs 150 on 8 August 2019.
Premier Explosives is engaged in the business of high energy materials (commercial explosives and defense explosives).
