Punjab National Bank net profit declines 20.59% in the March 2013 quarter

Sales rise 7.12% to Rs 10378.80 crore

Net profit of Punjab National Bank declined 20.59% to Rs 1130.80 crore in the quarter ended March 2013 as against Rs 1424.06 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2012. Total Operating Income rose 7.12% to Rs 10378.80 crore in the quarter ended March 2013 as against Rs 9688.51 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2012.

For the Audited full year,net profit declined 2.80% to Rs 4747.67 crore in the year ended March 2013 as against Rs 4884.20 crore during the previous year ended March 2012. Sales rose 14.85% to Rs 41893.33 crore in the year ended March 2013 as against Rs 36476.13 crore during the previous year ended March 2012.
