Quick Wrap: Nifty PSE Index declines 8.05%, NIFTY Tumbles 2.67%

Nifty PSE index ended down 8.05% at 3205.9 today. The index is down 11.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd slipped 23.97%, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd dropped 19.89% and Indian Oil Corporation Ltd fell 15.86%. The Nifty PSE index is down 21.00% over last one year compared to the 4.33% surge in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty Energy index is down 7.97% and Nifty Commodities index has dropped 6.18% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 has slid 2.67% to close at 10316.45 while the SENSEX is down 2.25% to close at 34376.99 today.
