Rainbow Papers standalone net profit rises 2217.31% in the March 2015 quarter

Sales decline 28.00% to Rs 138.32 crore

Net profit of Rainbow Papers rose 2217.31% to Rs 12.05 crore in the quarter ended March 2015 as against Rs 0.52 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2014. Sales declined 28.00% to Rs 138.32 crore in the quarter ended March 2015 as against Rs 192.11 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2014.

For the full year,net profit rose 1.66% to Rs 24.44 crore in the year ended March 2015 as against Rs 24.04 crore during the previous year ended March 2014. Sales declined 14.57% to Rs 554.20 crore in the year ended March 2015 as against Rs 648.69 crore during the previous year ended March 2014.
