Rana Sugars standalone net profit rises 19.65% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales decline 6.63% to Rs 427.98 crore

Net profit of Rana Sugars rose 19.65% to Rs 55.35 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 46.26 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales declined 6.63% to Rs 427.98 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 458.36 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net loss reported to Rs 26.14 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against net profit of Rs 16.73 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales rose 28.39% to Rs 1095.30 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 853.12 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
