RBI Announces Underwriting Auction For Sale Of Government Securities For Rs 16000 Crore

Reserve Bank Of India (RBI) announced underwriting auction for sale of Government Securities for Rs 16,000 crore on October 18, 2019. These include 6.17% GS 2021 for Rs 2000 crore, 7.27% GS 2026 for Rs 2000 crore, 6.45% GS 2029 for Rs 7000 crore, 7.62% GS 2039 for Rs 1000 crore, 7.63% GS 2059 for Rs 4000 crore. The underwriting auction will be conducted through multiple price-based method on October 18, 2019 (Friday). PDs may submit their bids for ACU auction electronically through Core Banking Solution (E- Kuber) System between 09.00 A.M. and 09.45 A.M. on the date of underwriting auction. The underwriting commission will be credited to the current account of the respective PDs with RBI on the date of issue of securities
