Reliance Communications Ltd rose 4.69% today to trade at Rs 16.08. The S&P BSE Telecom index is up 1.35% to quote at 946.76. The index is down 3.89 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, OnMobile Global Ltd increased 2.56% and Bharti Airtel Ltd added 2.29% on the day. The S&P BSE Telecom index went down 40.06 % over last one year compared to the 6.19% surge in benchmark SENSEX.
Reliance Communications Ltd has added 15.93% over last one month compared to 3.89% fall in S&P BSE Telecom index and 1.35% rise in the SENSEX. On the BSE, 3.68 lakh shares were traded in the counter so far compared with average daily volumes of 108.89 lakh shares in the past one month. The stock hit a record high of Rs 41.77 on 29 Dec 2017. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 9.55 on 29 Oct 2018.
