Riga Sugar Company standalone net profit rises 57.82% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 19.19% to Rs 78.19 crore

Net profit of Riga Sugar Company rose 57.82% to Rs 18.26 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 11.57 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 19.19% to Rs 78.19 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 65.60 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net loss reported to Rs 2.29 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against net loss of Rs 10.40 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales declined 2.74% to Rs 179.54 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 184.60 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
