Rupa & Company gained 3.4% to Rs 447.45 at 10:11 IST on BSE after net profit jumped 70.47% to Rs 39.89 crore on 10% rise in total income to Rs 420.70 crore in Q4 March 2018 over Q4 March 2017.
The result was announced after market hours yesterday, 23 May 2018.Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 85.52 points, or 0.25% at 34,430.43.
On the BSE, 13,000 shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 3,521 shares in the past two weeks. The stock had hit a high of Rs 469.90 and a low of Rs 444.80 so far during the day. The stock had hit a record high of Rs 590 on 15 June 2017 and a 52-week low of Rs 350.35 on 26 March 2018.
The mid-cap company has equity capital of Rs 7.95 crore. Face value per share is Rs 1.
The board of directors of the company has recommended a dividend of Rs 3 per share for the financial year ended 31 March 2018.
