Rupa & Company net profit declines 7.59% in the March 2014 quarter

Sales rise 13.25% to Rs 278.05 crore

Net profit of Rupa & Company declined 7.59% to Rs 19.60 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 21.21 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales rose 13.25% to Rs 278.05 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 245.52 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net profit rose 0.49% to Rs 62.06 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 61.76 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales rose 9.55% to Rs 889.59 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 812.06 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
