Sagar Cements standalone net profit declines 29.91% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales decline 16.04% to Rs 152.11 crore

Net profit of Sagar Cements declined 29.91% to Rs 15.21 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 21.70 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales declined 16.04% to Rs 152.11 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 181.17 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit declined 83.23% to Rs 49.76 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 296.65 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales rose 13.48% to Rs 618.27 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 544.83 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
