Sakthi Sugars standalone net profit declines 78.96% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 28.12% to Rs 334.18 crore

Net profit of Sakthi Sugars declined 78.96% to Rs 12.36 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 58.75 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 28.12% to Rs 334.18 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 260.84 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net loss reported to Rs 55.07 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against net loss of Rs 34.77 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales declined 1.81% to Rs 818.34 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 833.43 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
