Sanghvi Movers hits 52-week high after large bulk deal

Sanghvi Movers gained 3.51% to Rs 292 at 10:48 IST on BSE after 9.31% equity changed hands in a bulk deal on BSE today, 10 April 2015.

A large bulk deal of 40.31 lakh shares was executed on the Sanghvi Movers counter at Rs 261 per share in opening trade on BSE today, 10 April 2015.

Meanwhile, the BSE Sensex was down 46.35 points, or 0.16%, to 28,828.86

Bulk deal boosted volume on the scrip. On BSE, so far 43.70 lakh shares were traded in the counter, compared with an average volume of 22,650 shares in the past one quarter.

The stock hit a high of Rs 302.50 so far during the day, which is also a 52-week high for the counter. The stock hit a low of Rs 261 so far during the day. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 68.60 on 9 April 2014.

The stock had outperformed the market over the past one month till 9 April 2015, rising 4.91% compared with 0.14% rise in the Sensex. The scrip had also outperformed the market in past one quarter, gaining 45.75% as against Sensex's 5.20% rise.

The small-cap company has an equity capital of Rs 8.66 crore. Face value per share is Rs 2.

Sanghvi Movers reported net profit of Rs 7.19 crore in Q3 December 2014 as against net loss of Rs 6.50 crore in Q3 December 2013. Net sales rose 54.3% to Rs 86.10 crore in Q3 December 2014 over Q3 December 2013.

Sanghvi Movers is the largest crane rental company in India. The company's scope of work includes implementation of turnkey projects, providing of well-maintained equipment, expert technical services and skilled manpower.
