Sarda Energy & Minerals net profit declines 49.34% in the March 2014 quarter

Sales rise 15.19% to Rs 362.98 crore

Net profit of Sarda Energy & Minerals declined 49.34% to Rs 25.24 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 49.82 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales rose 15.19% to Rs 362.98 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 315.11 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net profit declined 39.47% to Rs 75.38 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 124.53 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales declined 8.53% to Rs 1256.00 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 1373.06 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
