Sarda Energy & Minerals standalone net profit rises 74.55% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales decline 25.07% to Rs 244.94 crore

Net profit of Sarda Energy & Minerals rose 74.55% to Rs 10.77 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 6.17 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales declined 25.07% to Rs 244.94 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 326.87 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit declined 32.75% to Rs 37.55 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 55.84 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales declined 24.68% to Rs 1031.05 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 1368.98 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
