Saurashtra Cement standalone net profit declines 29.99% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 3.76% to Rs 142.28 crore

Net profit of Saurashtra Cement declined 29.99% to Rs 26.75 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 38.21 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 3.76% to Rs 142.28 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 137.12 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit declined 35.24% to Rs 43.78 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 67.60 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales declined 6.01% to Rs 524.57 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 558.13 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
