Saurashtra Cement standalone net profit rises 484.89% in the March 2018 quarter

Sales rise 66.74% to Rs 178.53 crore

Net profit of Saurashtra Cement rose 484.89% to Rs 26.32 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 4.50 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017. Sales rose 66.74% to Rs 178.53 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 107.07 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017.

For the full year,net profit rose 345.69% to Rs 62.53 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 14.03 crore during the previous year ended March 2017. Sales rose 22.00% to Rs 573.65 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 470.19 crore during the previous year ended March 2017.
