SBEC Sugar standalone net profit rises 9003.57% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 70.94% to Rs 192.91 crore

Net profit of SBEC Sugar rose 9003.57% to Rs 25.49 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 0.28 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 70.94% to Rs 192.91 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 112.85 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit reported to Rs 5.16 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against net loss of Rs 28.61 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales declined 7.95% to Rs 389.56 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 423.22 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
