Seshasayee Paper & Boards standalone net profit rises 109.54% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales decline 5.21% to Rs 320.15 crore

Net profit of Seshasayee Paper & Boards rose 109.54% to Rs 39.54 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 18.87 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales declined 5.21% to Rs 320.15 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 337.74 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit rose 262.14% to Rs 128.85 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 35.58 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales rose 10.01% to Rs 1134.79 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 1031.50 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
