Shoppers Stop standalone net profit declines 1.26% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 8.98% to Rs 880.73 crore

Net profit of Shoppers Stop declined 1.26% to Rs 10.17 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 10.30 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 8.98% to Rs 880.73 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 808.19 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit declined 38.19% to Rs 25.18 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 40.74 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales rose 11.37% to Rs 3349.64 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 3007.61 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
