Shriram Pistons & Rings standalone net profit rises 18.91% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales rise 8.92% to Rs 402.14 crore

Net profit of Shriram Pistons & Rings rose 18.91% to Rs 35.59 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 29.93 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales rose 8.92% to Rs 402.14 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 369.19 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit rose 28.89% to Rs 118.10 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 91.63 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales rose 5.36% to Rs 1467.67 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 1392.95 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
