Simplex Castings net profit declines 80.36% in the March 2014 quarter

Sales decline 11.33% to Rs 39.07 crore

Net profit of Simplex Castings declined 80.36% to Rs 0.11 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 0.56 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales declined 11.33% to Rs 39.07 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 44.06 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net profit declined 69.15% to Rs 1.53 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 4.96 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales declined 21.85% to Rs 158.76 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 203.14 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
