Simplex Castings standalone net profit declines 81.21% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales rise 20.15% to Rs 74.43 crore

Net profit of Simplex Castings declined 81.21% to Rs 0.53 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 2.82 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales rose 20.15% to Rs 74.43 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 61.95 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit declined 47.19% to Rs 1.88 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 3.56 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales rose 0.43% to Rs 205.14 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 204.27 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
