Som Distilleries & Breweries net profit rises 49.47% in the March 2014 quarter

Sales decline 15.91% to Rs 39.69 crore

Net profit of Som Distilleries & Breweries rose 49.47% to Rs 5.68 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 3.80 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales declined 15.91% to Rs 39.69 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 47.20 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net profit rose 14.04% to Rs 20.30 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 17.80 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales declined 6.52% to Rs 190.27 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 203.55 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
