Southern Magnesium & Chemicals standalone net profit declines 61.70% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales rise 31.03% to Rs 1.14 crore

Net profit of Southern Magnesium & Chemicals declined 61.70% to Rs 0.18 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 0.47 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales rose 31.03% to Rs 1.14 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 0.87 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit rose 102.13% to Rs 1.90 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 0.94 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales rose 103.12% to Rs 6.52 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 3.21 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
