Star Cement standalone net profit rises 4.72% in the March 2021 quarter

Sales rise 12.35% to Rs 589.86 crore

Net profit of Star Cement rose 4.72% to Rs 62.11 crore in the quarter ended March 2021 as against Rs 59.31 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2020. Sales rose 12.35% to Rs 589.86 crore in the quarter ended March 2021 as against Rs 525.04 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2020.

For the full year,net profit declined 28.09% to Rs 157.27 crore in the year ended March 2021 as against Rs 218.71 crore during the previous year ended March 2020. Sales declined 6.16% to Rs 1664.00 crore in the year ended March 2021 as against Rs 1773.27 crore during the previous year ended March 2020.
