Sterling Tools standalone net profit rises 6.96% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales decline 2.79% to Rs 98.51 crore

Net profit of Sterling Tools rose 6.96% to Rs 7.84 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 7.33 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales declined 2.79% to Rs 98.51 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 101.34 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit rose 36.73% to Rs 38.86 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 28.42 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales rose 1.58% to Rs 370.10 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 364.34 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
