Sun Pharmaceuticals Industries consolidated net profit declines 16.67% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales decline 7.97% to Rs 6825.16 crore

Net profit of Sun Pharmaceuticals Industries declined 16.67% to Rs 1385.57 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 1662.79 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales declined 7.97% to Rs 6825.16 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 7415.98 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit rose 38.67% to Rs 7846.23 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 5658.31 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales rose 8.52% to Rs 30264.23 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 27888.07 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
