Sun TV Network leads gainers on BSE's 'A' group

Dr Reddy's Laboratories, Reliance Capital, Central Bank of India and Indiabulls Real Estate are among the other gainers in the BSE's 'A' group today, 1 September 2017.

Sun TV Network surged 9.58% at Rs 764. The stock topped the gainers in 'A' group. On the BSE, 4.74 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 55,000 shares in the past two weeks.

Dr Reddy's Laboratories spurted 8.83% at Rs 2,198.85. The stock was the second biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 1.72 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 99,000 shares in the past two weeks.

The company issued a clarification that on 31 August 2017, the United States District Court, for the District of Delaware, issued its judgment in favour of Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, ruling that the proposed generic version of Suboxone (buprenorphine and naloxone) sublingual film does not infringe US Patents as asserted by Indivior.

Suboxone (buprenorphine and naloxone) sublingual film is indicated for the maintenance treatment of opioid dependence. Reckitt Benckiser developed Suboxone sublingual film using MonoSol Rx's PharmFilm technology. In December 2014, Reckitt Benckiser de-merged its pharmaceuticals business as Indivior. The US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) has approved Suboxone film in four strengths viz. 2 mg /0.5 mg, 4 mg/1 mg, 8 mg/2 mg, and 12 mg/3 mg (buprenorphine/naloxone). The announcement was made during market hours today, 1 September 2017.

Reliance Capital jumped 8.12% at Rs 869.30. The stock was the third biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 14.16 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 4.97 lakh shares in the past two weeks.

Central Bank of India climbed 7.42% at Rs 94.85. The stock was the fourth biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 11.20 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 3.64 lakh shares in the past two weeks.

Indiabulls Real Estate rose 7% at Rs 250. The stock was the fifth biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 17.13 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 9.20 lakh shares in the past two weeks.
