Sales rise 31.51% to Rs 217.15 crore

Net profit of Suryalakshmi Cotton Mills reported to Rs 9.13 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against net loss of Rs 4.53 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 31.51% to Rs 217.15 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 165.12 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit rose 146.92% to Rs 30.05 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 12.17 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales rose 7.77% to Rs 759.80 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 705.01 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
