Suzlon Energy reports consolidated net profit of Rs 578.99 crore in the March 2017 quarter

Sales rise 55.08% to Rs 4992.59 crore

Net profit of Suzlon Energy reported to Rs 578.99 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against net loss of Rs 333.87 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales rose 55.08% to Rs 4992.59 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 3219.30 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit rose 47.22% to Rs 839.47 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 570.22 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales rose 34.60% to Rs 12692.53 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 9429.58 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
