Tamil Nadu Newsprint & Papers standalone net profit declines 47.80% in the March 2018 quarter

Sales rise 27.26% to Rs 1017.21 crore

Net profit of Tamil Nadu Newsprint & Papers declined 47.80% to Rs 33.10 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 63.41 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017. Sales rose 27.26% to Rs 1017.21 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 799.29 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017.

For the full year,net loss reported to Rs 42.15 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against net profit of Rs 264.57 crore during the previous year ended March 2017. Sales rose 4.28% to Rs 3037.03 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 2912.31 crore during the previous year ended March 2017.
