Tara Jewels net profit declines 64.15% in the March 2014 quarter

Sales rise 2.33% to Rs 329.31 crore

Net profit of Tara Jewels declined 64.15% to Rs 4.03 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 11.24 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales rose 2.33% to Rs 329.31 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 321.81 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net profit declined 40.46% to Rs 39.44 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 66.24 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales rose 2.42% to Rs 1417.14 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 1383.60 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
