Tata Chemicals reports consolidated net profit of Rs 242.24 crore in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 8.70% to Rs 3976.27 crore

Net profit of Tata Chemicals reported to Rs 242.24 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against net loss of Rs 74.17 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 8.70% to Rs 3976.27 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 3657.89 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit rose 30.80% to Rs 780.16 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 596.46 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales rose 3.69% to Rs 17537.09 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 16912.56 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
