Tata Metaliks resumes production of Pig Iron and DI Pipes at Kharagpur plant

Tata Metaliks has initiated start-up activities to resume production in a phased manner with a well-developed Standard Operating Procedure for resumption of operations keeping in mind the Govt. advisories and hygiene guidelines. Normal production of hot metal from the Blast Furnaces feeding into the DI pipe plant will commence in the next few days and will be ramped up to a level of 40 - 50% capacity. Further action to ramp up production will be taken up in due course as and when the workforce restrictions are eased by the Govt. and in line with market conditions.
