Tata Motors consolidated net profit rises 201.61% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 18.76% to Rs 79926.12 crore

Net profit of Tata Motors rose 201.61% to Rs 5177.06 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 1716.50 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 18.76% to Rs 79926.12 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 67297.99 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit declined 21.18% to Rs 11023.75 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 13986.29 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales rose 4.57% to Rs 272645.84 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 260734.33 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
